Power Platform Conference 2023 Update
Share

This post was originally published in 2023. Some details may have changed since then.

New update from the Power Platform Conference 2023. 🚀 AI is creating more successful automation flows by being allowed to have more input. Here’s the breakdown 👇🏽

What’s the Innovation?

The launch of the new Power Automate flow designer, which integrates next-gen AI and enables Copilot by default. This is the version three designer and is now generally available.

Why does it matter?

The AI-assisted design process, through Copilot, has proven to increase the likelihood of flows being run in production by 50%. With feedback, Copilot has been allowed to populate more parameters in the flows.

What’s the Business Value/Implication?

Faster and more efficient development of automation flows, which can lead to improved operational efficiency and reduced time spent on manual, repetitive tasks within the organisation.

What’s a use case for automation?

Imagine developing an automated inventory management system. One that orders supplies, updates stock levels, and notifies relevant stakeholders when needed. This would ensure stock levels are optimized and overstock or stockout situations are minimized.
