Boosting Value with C4E and CoE

Boosting Value with C4E and CoE
Share

This post was originally published in 2024. Some details may have changed since then.

How does the Centre for Enablement (C4E) bring more value to an organisation if we already have a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in place? They each play distinct but complementing roles. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ

๐ŸŽฏ A Centre of Excellence is great for:

โ†’ Establishing best practices and governance.
โ†’ Providing centralised expertise.

๐Ÿ” A Centre for Enablement goes further to:

โ†’ Empower self-service across the organisation.
โ†’ Accelerate delivery processes.
โ†’ Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
โ†’ Drive innovation and agility.
โ†’ Democratise integration capabilities.

While COE lays the groundwork with governance and expert guidance, C4E takes it further by empowering teams, speeding up delivery, fostering collaboration, and broadening access to key capabilities.

Together, C4E and COE create a good balance between centralised control and distributed enablement.

Both contribute to more value in their own way.
