Power Platform: Enablement Over Excellence

Power Platform: Enablement Over Excellence
Share

This post was originally published in 2024. Some details may have changed since then.

Want more value out of the Power Platform?

Move beyond ‘excellence’ 🌟 to focus on ‘enablement’ 🙋🏽♂️ Creating a culture that:
→ Provides accessible trainings
→ Shares learnings openly
→ Celebrate what’s working
→ Communicates clearly

It’s understandable that creation and development with the Power Platform needs governance, guardrails and ensuring best practice. The Centre of Excellence has it’s place.

But this focus alone don’t drive the best innovation available in the business. A drive towards doing it right or not doing it at all.

Additionally there needs to be an integrated ‘people first’ approach to empowerment.

Asking questions like:

👉🏽 ‘What environments can we create for people to try, fail and grow?’
👉🏽 ‘How can people take ownership of their own learning?’
👉🏽 ‘What support are we providing?’
👉🏽 ‘How are we sharing learnings to collectively grow?
👉🏽 ‘How do we make this easier?’

What do you think?
