The Microsoft Partner is dead

She asked me to attend this event for the past two years, and I am glad she did.
In my 30 years in tech, I have not been to a better run event packed with quality sessions delivered by outstanding people.

One thing I can guarantee is that hashtag#DynamicsMinds 2025 will be sold out.

I had the opportunity to engage with people with thought leadership and stories from the trenches.

💡 I also came up with a few ideas that I will develop into posts as I clarify my thinking in the coming weeks:

- The Microsoft Partner is dead
- Microsoft partners are doing less outcomes-based work and devolved to resource augmentation
- Microsoft partners have stopped delivering results and have replaced this with activity
- End customers no longer need Microsoft Partners; they are mature enough to build their implementation teams
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Consultants are becoming fatigued working at Microsoft Partners driven by high utilization targets and little investment in their career development
- Microsoft Partners that have Power Platform and Dynamic 365 practices need to get skilled in Microsoft Fabric and Purview to drive value
- Microsoft want to close the license deal before they involve a Microsoft partner, as the partner slows the velocity of the deal.

What have I missed, and where do you disagree with me?
